My name is Matthew Gutt and I am a dedicated Wildlife Biologist and Wildlife Photographer. I knew at a young age that I wanted to spend my career and life dedicated to the conservation of wildlife. My journey wasn’t easy but the triumphs and tribulations have made me who I am today. After I graduated high school in 2009, I joined the Marine Corps Reserves, held a full-time job, and attended community college full-time. After raising my hand to join the fight in Afghanistan, I was awarded the Purple Heart medal. I was soon promoted to Sergeant and earned my Bachelor’s in Science degree from Towson University. I have spent the last several years traveling around the United States working for the National Park Service as a Wildlife Technician. These positions have given me valuable tools and knowledge during my time performing research on a diversity of species.
I pride myself on my dedication to my job, strong work ethic, time management skills, and the ability to work through all difficulties while maintaining a positive mindset.
When I’m not working, you can find me outdoors hiking and capturing wildlife through a camera lens.
Thank you for taking the time to explore my professional portfolio!
